$20,000 in Scholarship Awards Available

20 – $1,000 Scholarships Available for High School Seniors
Planning to Attend College as a Full-Time, Degree-Seeking Student in the Fall of 2018

Royal Business Bank is committed to supporting economically-challenged youth, presiding in their business service territories to fulfill their dreams of obtaining higher education.

Eligibility:

- High school seniors who reside in Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura County and Clark County-Nevada
- Plan to attend a U.S. Accredited 4-Year College/University of California/Nevada Community College as a 1st year student in the Fall of 2018 (if selected, must submit college acceptance letter for verification)
- Have a minimum cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.0
- Have a household income at or below the County Low Income Level (must be able to show 2016 or 2017 tax return should applicant be selected for award)
- The scholarship is open to ALL MAJORS and there is NO ETHNICITY REQUIREMENT
- Employees of Royal Business Bank and their immediate family members are NOT eligible to apply

APIA Scholarships 2021-2022

The Asian Pacific Islander Faculty Staff Association (APIA) seeks to recognize outstanding students who exemplify the spirit of APIA by achieving academic excellence and demonstrating personal commitment and dedicated service to their community and/or campus. APIA awards a $300 scholarship to one student at each of the three NOCCCD campuses: Cypress College, Fullerton College, and the North Orange Continuing Education. APIA is open to any NOCCCD faculty or staff member interested in furthering understanding of the Asian Pacific Islander cultures represented on campus.

Membership fee is $50 annually. The membership fee funds the annual APIA scholarships awarded to a student at each of the campuses: Cypress, Fullerton, and NOCE. Donations are welcome.

Purpose of APIA

The Association shall:

· provide a support group for the Asian American/Pacific Islander employees of the North Orange County Community College District.

· provide an opportunity for study and action on issues of importance to the Asian American/Pacific Islander employees of the North Orange County Community College District.

· foster fellowship and create a formal network among the Asian American/Pacific Islander employees of the North Orange County Community College District.

· inform and educate the Board of Trustees, faculty and staff, students and residents of the North Orange County Community College District on issues that impact the Asian American employees of the North Orange County Community College District.

· provide support and mentorship for the Asian American/Pacific Islander students of the North Orange County Community College District.

· foster a liaison between the Association, other employees, and other employee support groups, as well as external Asian American/Pacific Islander groups.

· provide support for communication with employees who are friendly to the goals of the Association

We are currently working to expand and collaborate with all interested employees of the NOCCCD.
