"The Persisting Significance of the Incarceration of Japanese Americans"
Professor Yamamoto is nationally and internationally recognized for his legal work and scholarship on civil procedure as well as national security and civil liberties, civil and human rights and social justice, with an emphasis on reconciliation initiatives and reparations for historic injustice. His presentation will be informed by his recent book, In the Shadow of Korematsu: Democratic Liberties and National Security.

2021-2022 APIA Scholarship
Asian Pacific Islander Faculty Staff Association (APIA) seeks to recognize outstanding students who exemplify the spirit of APIA by achieving academic excellence and demonstrating personal commitment and dedicated service to their community. The Fullerton College APIA scholarship of $300 will be awarded to one currently enrolled student in any field at each campus. Please use the forms that pertain to your campus.
